Roy Ramy, our founder, would spend weeks in the north country in late August and early September, the " Month of the Wild Rice Moon."
He would stand on the shores of the water eagerly awaiting the return of his canoes weighted down with the harvest. He kept only the best wild rice for his customers.

The Ramy family continues this tradition today: only the best rice, meeting our demanding standards. It is how we have assured our customers the highest quality products for 80 years!

Some tips for entering your recipe:

Please try to use 100% wild rice, no white or brown.
Take a close picture so it is easier for others to see.
Make the image size to be no larger than 1mb.
Attach the picture using your E-mail program.
Please send multiple pictures using different lighting and techniques.
